As for adoption, you can call an adoption lawyer (look in the phone book) or you can call your state (I assume you're in the U.S.?). Google your state's name and adoption. Look in the phone book under adoption for a list of local agencies, too.
I've adopted three children. Be careful about the agency. Check it out. Watch out for lawyers. Go to a place where you can pick out the parents. Also, if you want contact with your daughter, make sure you go to a place that favors open adoption. (((Hugs))) I know how hard this must be.
