I don't think I'm the only one here who has to wait to start the adoption process. That being said, I've got a huge to-do list of things to tackle "someday" so I had the idea that I could tackle that list while I'm waiting to start the process.

Any one want to start their "to-do someday" list while I do mine?

I'll be:

-Reading the Bible the entire way through.
-Catching up with my scrapbook of my life so far
-Learn to sew so I can mend clothes, make clothes and make blankets.
-Read all the books on my book list (so far the book list is 47 books long)
-Finish all the story ideas that I have (I write for fun).
-Start selling handmade cards

That is all I can think of off the top of my head, I'll probably add more when I'm not sneaking onto JM during work.

"The Lord compensates the faithful for every loss. That which is taken away from those who love the Lord will be added unto them in His own way. While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude..... These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are percisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character and increase our compassion for others."

That is a great idea!! I know the waiting is the hardest part of the adoption process... especially if you have to wait to even START that process! Anything you can do now that you've always wanted to do is great. There are many things I wish I'd done before having children. Not that I'd want to give back my children to do those things, just that it is a lot harder NOW than it would have been.
