I know there are a few ladies who do Foster Care, do you know how to donate stuff to the system? I have a bunch of small backpacks/ diaper bags and such from my business which closed a while ago. I was thinking that the kids in the system could use them if they didn't have a backpack or anything to put their stuff in when they change houses. But I'm unsure how to go about donating them. Anybody have any ideas? I live in California if that helps.

While it may not come at the time we desire, the faithful will know that every tear today will eventually be returned a hundredfold with tears of rejoicing and gratitude..... These experiences, while often difficult to bear at the time, are percisely the kinds of experiences that stretch our understanding, build our character and increase our compassion for others."

Im not sure..you might want to call one of the agencies! I know my church does drives to gather stuff like that..im sure whoever you donate it to will be so thankful! Try your local agency! Good luck! And thanks for being so thoughtful!

Call your local social services department. Ours here is Department of Human Resources. Could be Child Protective Services too though.

We love getting donated stuff like that at our DHR.
