So what are your Christmas (or other holiday if that is what you celebrate) plans for this year? Doing anything special? How about you guys who have new family members?

We're planning to just stay home this year (no travel). We've redone the boys' room and are about to paint Sarah Beth's room. So for their presents, we asked for money or to buy things like the sheets and stuff for their rooms. I did get them all one gift from Santa plus some little stocking stuffers too. My parents live down the road and we plan to go over there for Christmas dinner. Probably just our family, my parents, my brother and possibly my DH's brother and his father.

We are just planning on hanging out at home. Every other year, we would wake up open gifts from Santa, then have to get ready and make it to 2-3 different parties with family, and it always ended really bad (2 of mine have sensory issues and can't handle lots of people for extended periods of time). So this year I have planned it that we are going to one party Christmas Eve and one the day after Christmas, which works out well for us. The kids will be able to play with their gifts from Santa without being rushed out the door right after opening them

I make a Christmas Eve dinner and invite friends over. Both DH and my imediate family live out of the city so its just us and the dogs.

Hopefully, next year we will have a new member to enjoy our tradition.

We'll be having our first Christmas here, I don't think anyone is coming but the six of us. I'm okay with that

The Christmas tree is popular in most homes in the United States. We decorate our living and family rooms and outside in the yard, with trees.
