I went with a domestic adoption through a facilitator for our DS and we are waiting again. A lot of it depends on what you want....Foster care is free or they reimburse. Domestic is usually less expensive than international. The age of the child sometimes matters too. Race can raise the cost too. I went with an agency that has a flat free for race and age and gender. I think it's absurd that the agencies can charge up to 12k more for a caucasian child. Do your research (and soul-searching too). You can PM me if you have ANY questions.

10/13/10: Adoption paperwork done...now just pray and wait....
01/07/11 profiles turned into the adoption agency.
Matched April 1st, 2011 with a baby girl!
