So hubby is an EXCELLENT chef/baker so we were thinking of selling cheesecakes to help with the costs of the adoption. Hubby is not sure about it because he thinks people will say if we want another kid we should get the money ourselves. So I was wondering, did any of you do a fundraiser and did you have support?
I've helped with LOTS of adoption fundraisers. This is very very commonplace. I think selling the cheesecakes is an AWESOME idea too!
Here, I've helped with yard sales (most were huge ones because people close to the family also donated their items to be sold as well) and auctions (businesses donated items and we auctioned them off) and dinners. All have been received really well!
I'm SO happy to hear that! We have a semi-large family so any clothes we have gets passed down so we dont have anything for a garage/yard sale. Augie-that is a BEAUTIFUL idea! I will be using that idea
