Hi everyone! I am new to this board, but have been on JM since 2007 (just made a new user name, but was active on ttc#1). My hubby and I are in our later 20s, from VA and are about to start our adoption journey. We have been ttc since 2007 with 9 recurrent miscarriages, 8 with unknown cause, 1 known cause of unbalanced chromosomes. Right now we are looking into private domestic adoption and was wondering if anyone here has experience with this that they can share. I am open to hearing about your stories. I have already contacted Lutheran social services and heard back from them with some information and with the application forms. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Hello and welcome! And congratulations on starting your adoption journey! I'm afraid I'm not able to answer your question. My husband and I just recently completed our homestudy paperwork and are on a wait list for our homestudy. Hopefully someone will be able to answer your questions.

Hi there! Where in Virginia are you? I just started training with LFSVA last night! I joined JM in 2008 and have had 5 miscarriages (6 babies). Check out the Recurrent Loss board on here if you haven't already. We're slow but the ladies there have saved my sanity. Oh, and we're close in age too! I'll be 28 on the 28th. DH turned 31 this past Sunday.
