The fact that we never know when he will be without a job. The big coal company didn't pay DH's company so they pulled out. They owed like 20 million dollars. We have heard from several other companies that the same thing happened to them. DH was laid off on a Wensday. On Thursday the coal company offered him a job. He took it thinking that at the least he would have work for another couple of weeks. Well after the lay off we decided to put a hold on our homestudy. Because we don't want to bring a child into an uncertain future when that is all they have ever known. So we called the agency and told them to take us off the list for the time being. Well we are doing good for now. DH is working 5 days a week and we are back where we were. But now there are rumors going around that in the beginning of October that 3000 people are being laid off from the coal industry. So DH could very well lose his job. We are actually getting ready to pay off our house. So we won't have to worry about losing it. But things may get hard on us. I want to be able to call the agency and have them put us on the list in the hopes that we will have a placement by Christmas or just after first of the year. But with all this I just can't. I guess I just needed someone to vent to and I knew you ladies would understand.
