Just have to vent. We want to adopt a little girl and have been trying to raise the money. Hubby is an excellent baker/chef and is willing to make cheesecake,pies, chocoflan and pizzas and no one is willing to buy anything. Getting really frustrated it's going to take forever to get the funds (

Have you tried doing a bake sale? Maybe you could do that and then have a sing up where they can order different things to pick up later?

That's exactly what we're doing. We got 3 sales this weekend,Thank God! but it's going to take way more to get the money LOL .

Where do you do your bake sales? Maybe try the local churches. I know people have done fundraiser bake sales at our church & sometimes we just take a collection for people.

We have announced it on our facebook pages, my oldest has told people in our church, my mil has told her co-workers.

We're going to be doing a fundraiser on FB soon. We're going to raise support by asking people to donate $1 per like of a photo we place on FB up to whatever amount they are comfortable with. So for example I would pledge $1 per like up to $50 and if the photo gets 50 likes then I would donate that amount.
