Hi everyone!

DH and I have one son who will be 2 in February. Our TTC journey was long and TTC#2 is going even worse than TTC#1. We would love to complete our family with one more child and I am very interested in adoption. We live in the US, and I just don't know where to even start. We would be interested in an older baby - like 18-24 months. We don't have any preferences for ethnicity or country of birth. We are poorly equipt to adopt a special-needs child. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to pick a reputable agency? I'm not even sure whether we should do a domestic or international adoption? Googling seems to leave me even more confused and discouraged. Sorry for being so ill-informed but I'm really out on a limb here. Any advice would be welcome.

From my research, domestic appears to be cheaper than international. Private adoption is even cheaper but you have to find the family yourself.
