Hi! I've been browsing thru here and thought I would introduce myself....

My name is Sonya (27) and Im happily married to Nathan (27) and we have 3 adorable baby boys ( all our own ) Johnny (6) Isaac (5) and Aiden (1)....

I have always wanted to adopt since I was a kid... I was adopted my self at the age of 4 and I see what wonderful things it did for me and I want to give another child that same kind of chance!

I have done alot of research and I have decieded that I want to adopt from the state ( in the same state we live in ME) probably from A family from me... and we are looking into adopting a girl ( yes a girl after 3 boys! LOL ).... I have always wanted to adopt a older girl... because everyone wants the younger ones and the older ones get overseen.. so we are looking for one between the ages of 10-18 yrs.

Im very excited but im still in the very very beginning process... I still have to attend the informational meeting and then go from thier...

I look forward to getting to know you all... and hearing your expierences and joys!!

Hi JIAs Mommy! Something must be wrong with my computer this morning, because I can't see the text of your post at all, but I wanted to say welcome to the adoption board!

It's light pink. Your screen might not be picking it up. If you drag your mouse over the post, it should show up navy blue.

WELCOME!! I think that adoption is wonderful. We are in the process of a domestic adoption and I can't wait to get the baby! (God Willing) We are even talking about adopting a few more once this one is completely finished.

We are also thinking about domestic adoption for the future and I'm very excited about the option.

We got our daughter as a foster child when she was 6. We were able to finalize the adoption when she was 9. She is wonderful. I have our story in the introductions under adoptions. If you have any questions, let me know.
