Did you know there's only 92 days until Christmas?
Have you started your shopping yet, and if not, when do you plan to start?
When do you usually put up your decorations?
What about decorations for fall, are those up yet?

LOL! I'm trying not to either!! It always sneaks up on me, but I think this year is passing even faster than normal. My fall decorations are still in the attic, I hope to drag them down next weekend. I have bought just a few gifts, mainly for my kids' teachers. We usually decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving and it's one of my favorite things to do. I love seeing the kids faces when everything is done.

Hush .. on that count down Marla .. LOL

I haven't started any shopping and with the adoption coming up it's most likely going to be done after that, to see what we've got in the savings account. We aren't putting up holiday decorations this year mainly because for the christmas Holiday we are going to be flying with the baby to South Carolina to spend the Holidays with DH's daughter and her family. I have other family that will be staying here with mom.

We usually put or decorations up on Thanksgiving day and take them down on New Years day. I have a plastic canvas nativity scene I put up ... and my tree and door wreath. We've got lights and garland and pot poppuri with holiday scents. As for shopping that usually starts in November just at the begining.

Have you started your shopping yet, and if not, when do you plan to start? Yes- I've started and hopefully will be done before November
When do you usually put up your decorations? I put up Christmas decor after Thankdsgiving
What about decorations for fall, are those up yet? The only fall decoration is our Thanksgiving Tree done on Thanksgiving Day. It is a stick in a pot of sand and we hang paper leaves on it. On the paper leaves are things we are thankful for.

That is such a great idea! My kids would enjoy something like that.

I have to agree that sounded like a really great idea. I think it's a wonderful thing to do.
