to this sub-forum.

We've been dealing with MFI for 15 months now. We have decided it would be a great step in the correct direction to head into the adoption process. Can't wait to get to know everyone doing the same things. We will most likely either go through a state agency or do a private adoption just through a lawyer, which do you think is better?

We picked up a book last night called, "The Complete Adoption Book". If anyone ever needs info on there state rules or just references for their state just ask me and I'll look it up. It has a lot of excellent info in it.

Emily,

Welcome! DH and I are just starting our adoption journey. We begin Group Preparation and Selection classes on March 30. We are looking to adopt through our local DHR. We think we'd like an older set of siblings... possibly 2-3 children anywhere from 0-8 years old.

Good luck with your journey and keep us posted!
