that says if your child is sick you dont have to choose whether to go to work and be able to afford to pay your heating bill or stay home and lose pay to take care of them. No one should have to make that decision, it sucks

I couldnt agree more. I actually got fired 3 years ago because of time missed when my 05er was really sick. He was finally diagnosed with a liver issue and 2 days after the diagnosis is when I was fired so pretty stupid considering I would no longer need to take a bunch of time off because he was getting better and able to come back to daycare.
