Do you live somewhere warm or somewhere cold? How has the winter been treating you? Lots of snow or pretty mild?

I'm in St. Louis, MO and we are having a relatively mild winter so far. It has snowed a few times and we haven't had much in the way of ice so far. Kind of makes me think we are going to get dumped on soon

I know there is some kind of wives tale about what a mild winter means, but I can't remember!

I hate the winter! It has been mild here though so really I can't complain but then again I so do not belong in a Canadian winter at all. I personally would like to hibernate through winter and wake up in the spring if dh and the kiddos would let me. lol

it has been a crazy mild winter here! I grew up in northern ontario where its usually 50 below with 4 or 5 ft of snow! I think its snowed here 3-4 times and its always gone in 1-2 days.

where in Northern Ontario are you from? My step-dad is from northern ontario and most of his family is still there.

Winter here, in Idaho, is pretty nonexistent. We had only one day of snow and it melted the same day. I've been a little disappointed because I love snowboarding, but that's probably not going to happen this winter.

I'm in Texas and I'm loving the warm weather. The next 2 days our high is 80degrees. I hate the cold so when it drops it sucks.

Hate, hate, hate winter! lol I live in a cold environment unfortunately. We had a super nice January and now since February hit, we've had a ton of snow and wind and yuck! I'm so ready for spring to get here.
