Nathan had his dentist appointment bright and early...
He did great. Layed on the table and let them do his cleaning.. .when they brought me back to talk with the doctor.. he said the one tooth that has enamel hyperplasia is getting worse... it will most likely need to be filled sometime in the next 1-2 years...
The hyperplasia is directly related to his being premature in this case... and he also had a bit of gingivitis on his top gums
Preemies have notorious teeth issues and all in all this isn't really all that bad... I know a lady with a 24 weeker like Nathan and his teeth are all green right now.. so it could be worse!
Also his teeth sit so close together they are very hard to floss, even for the dentist... he said as his teeth start coming out.. the new ones coming in will make things very crowded and we can definitely look forward to braces in the future!
After all that he went and got his Hep A vaccination!
Came home, go thim to eat some lunch, take a nap.. I cooked dinner early because he had his violin lesson at 430.. so we were WIPED! lol.
Next week---- a 2 hour drive to OK City for his regular eye exam... that's tuesday I believe...
