i am feeling so frustrated zachariahs original scan was 20/5 and it didnt work, his next specialist appt is 7/7 and i've had to pester them for the last few weeks to get a new mri date, theyve said 31/7 which is ridiculous, it means he will be almost 8 months before they start doing any tests and to top it all the specialist appt will be put back so its after the scan. i cant believe how uncaring the medical team are being, i've already had hope dangled in front of me for the last 6mths i cant cope with another 2 i just want answers now! im sure if it was dvm he is meant to see by now, so why cant they try to find out what it is! aaaarrrggh, sorry just needed to get that off my chest

Oh sweetie, I am soo sorry. It is absolutely frustrating and I feel your pain. At least you have a date for the MRI, though, and I would make sure this time that they do things right. I can't believe how bad they screwed the last one up. Feel free to come here and vent anytime you need to.

thanks i just dont know why they cant see how difficult it is for the parents as well as the child, i just want them to do the tests and if they can find out what it is great, if they can fix it fantastic but i just want to know so we can get on with our lives and deal with it. i'd been under the impression that some reasons for lack of sight needed dealing with sooner rather than later to give it any chance of improving! the mri is general aeth next time whic im really worried about (him being older means he'll be more aware of it all too) and if they mess that up i'll make their lives a living hell! eugh
