Soryy we haven't been around as much. We are 2 weeks into our hershey stay and have at least 2 more. Alexis has been doing very well in the feeding program and has made some significant progress. She is biting mutltiple times, keeping the food in her mouth, taking more food in a bitre and not swallowing quite as fast (usually) and is starting to move the food around in her mouth more. No real chewing yet, but hopefully soon.

Hoope everything is good with your LOs.

That's amazing news!!!!! My son who is 3 still wont eat either. He wont chew, but he has started to sorta move food around in his mouth. Softer foods.

He sometimes still needs me to hook up how pump to tube feed him... but hopefully we can get him back to eating something other then Pedisures.

He used to eat food, baby food, when he was 1. But he was hospitalized for a month, and never regained the desire to eat food. We used to not be able to feed it to him fast enough... I miss those days.

Anyway, WTG for your little girl! That has to be so exciting for you guys.

Yea, Alexis did the same thing when she was 1. She stopped eating solids b/c she learned to hold her bottle. She refused solids for a year and it has taken us 4 years from the time she started baby food again to get her to chew and we had to use a specialist to do it. Very frusting, especially since, I am pretty sure that Penn State Medical Center (Hershey) is the only feeding program in the country that will work with kids who do not know how to chew. How excirted and relieved I am that I chose that one.
