Hello ladies. My son turned 2 in June, and is visionally impaired due to Albinism. (he just got his glasses -woohoo!!!- but he is still learning to keep them on ) lol He has significant delay's developmentally, but lately I have noticed more and more signs of sensory processing disorder. Is this common among VI children, and have any of you experienced this w/ your children? Any help is appreciated.

We were told it was common, although we never had to deal with it?

We have sensory issues with Alexis, mostly being tactile defensive and extremely sensitive to loud noisy crowds and rooms. She much prefers to be in a quite place with fewer people. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask, and hopefully we can find answers.
