What do you find to be the most trying thing about your LO vision problems?

It breaks my heart to see him tilt his head... because he will tilt it to look out of his *good* eye. He KNOWS which one he can see better out of... and when he has a book or is holding the iPod (spoiled I know, lol) when I see him tilt that head to get a better look, it just kills me...

That and the fact that Nathan *looks* so normal.. everyone does give me a strange look when I tell them he is a special needs child..

I think my biggest problem is the fact that she looks normal too, until she opens her mouth to talk or something like that. People give us really weird looks, especially if she has a poop accident in public. She's tall, and 6, but b/c she's autistic, we haven't fully mastered potty training yet, so looks we get in public are bad.

And the other thing I find most difficult is the wondering how much she actually sees and how clear it is. The optho. gave us an idea, but we really don't know.
