It was a looong appointment...
Which started out with Nathan getting a full body muscle massage so they could see if his muscles were tight/spasmatic (she didn't like his calf/feet muscles)

they did a few tests with Nate, fine motor skills and gross motor.. and have agreed he needs occupational therapy.Along with not holding things like pencils correctly, he couldn't pull stickers off a sticker sheet by himself (which I've known for a long time because someone bought him 3 sticker books that have over 500 stickers each in them and I am constantly pulling stickers off for him), they put a stick on the floor and told him to jump over it and he couldn't.. he looked like he was thinking about HOW to do it... then he would kind of look like he might then he stepped over it kinda like a skip and said Whoo-hoo I did it! lol

So he is being referred to the therapy place in town here for private therapy and is getting a referral to see a neurologist (in OK City) as well so he can be tested for CP.

It's all so draining to even think about!

She said she thinks because Nathan talks so well and has such a large vocabulary, people tend to over look everything else thinking how smart he is... and I can't argue with that, lol.

I am sorry that Nate needs OT, but it will definately help in the long run. Alexis still gets OT 5x a week, along with every thing else (she gets 18 therapies a week )

I am so glad that he's approved for the pneumovax. Crossing everything crossable that this will help prevent a lot of the pneumonia!
