So the parent teacher conference went good.
Nathan is smart... very smart.... the biggest problem they have with him is getting him to be quiet apparently, . To speak at the appropriate time... which isn't when they've asked Rita to answer a question. Yes Nathan is THAT kid.. the one who knows all the answers and wants to answer all the questions.
They had interns from the college doing some work there last week... and part of it was taking the kids aside one by one and asking questions like
"What do you have two of?"
most of the answers were fine.. two eyes, two ears, two feet.. and such..
they ask my little freak of nature and he tells them he has two lungs and two kidneys .
Then the intern read a book with them about compromising.. it went something like Buzz the bee and Ben the bee can't agree on which flowers to go to.. yellow or red....
And so the moral of the story went completely over Nathan's head of course as he told them all how bees get pollen from flowers and make nectar and spit it into the holes in the honey combs and stir it with the tongues and make honey
All the testing they did turned out really good except for motor skills.. he was 0/12 on it... but we knew that already.
