hello! I haven't posted in here before but I check periodically. I guess there are not too many moms with visually impaired children!! My 4 year old is visually impaired. We are still trying to identify her condition but it appears to be a random genetic thing called choroideremia. Poor thing has been to doctor after doctor (partly b/c she is such an interesting case!). Anyway, it's affecting her night and peripheral vision. In addition, she has poor eyesight and a lazy eye (stabismus). I feel so bad since every doctor visit requires drops which she just hates!
