Alexis had eye surgery. She had a null point nystgamus that was 20 degrees off center. What a null point nystagmus is is a point in which the nystagmus (the flickering uncontrollable movement of the eyes) is greatly reduced or stopped. Ideally this position should be center or less than 5 degrees off center to promote optimal vision use. With Alexis, hers was 20 degrees to the right so she was constantly turning her head and trying to use her vision from the corner of her eyes. They did surgery similar to strabismus surgery in that they tightened certain muscles and loosened others to shift the null point to the center.
Well potty training is going slowly, she will only use our potty and one at school, but no one else's. She's still having trouble telling us when she has to go and doesn't really poop yet, but with time those should come. She's on average having less than 1 accident a day. So we are excited about that. Sleeping, she seems to be doing somewhat better this week, getting about 8-9 hours, but we'll have to see how long it lasts. Feeding is kind of status quo, but we're making very very slow progress.
