hello, i've seen the vista now, zachariah was in a right strop for the day though so didn't have as much help as i would have liked. but they flashed stuff, shook stuff and clapped at him and told me to keep doing what i'm doing, so we'll see. not seeing them again until after seeing specialist for 2nd check (15april) grrrr. With any luck all will be fine but still waiting with slight impatiance! they were impressed by how strong he is though, am sure he's gonna end up a right terror heehee!

Hope all of you are doing well,

I am really surprised that you aren't ging to contiue seeing the vista until your next appt. Vision therapy is great for helping to promote vision development, tracking skills, and other visual-motor skills. And to have to wait another month and a half, that just seems odd to me. But it sounds like you're on the right track with promoting the vision.

Not to sound ignorant, but what is a right strop? I have never heard that phrase before.

Keep us posted and let us know how Zachariah is doing.

from the uk, well living in wales at the moment to be slightly more accurate.......yup vista didn't want to make another appointment until after the specialist check as it'll be easter holidays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! think they just wanted to see him for themselves , told me what to do and will wait for progress, i guess as he's still young there's not much else they can do. good luck with yours, i agree it's nice to feel youre beginning to get somewhere, hope they are useful for you i asked a load of questions but probably not enough. Apparently they only see about 5 cases of dvm in the year in my area, must be pretty rare as i know the night i left hospital they'd delivered 15 babies that evening so dread to think how many through the year!

mri scan? i guess you are talking about yourself as zachariah wont get one unless no progress next check. How long ago did you have it, they always say no news is good news but i would have thought you'd hear within 2 weeks at least! it's such a worry waiting isn't it, makes you feel a little helpless but at least you have your Qvti coming (am sure it will be the same thing as vista) good luck hope you get a lot from it for you and little one.
