I had a positive opk on tuesday Nov 25, dh and dtd that night and then thurday Nov 27, and again Saturday Nov 29. Before I found out that I had the positive opk we also dtd on saturday Nov 20. I am definately hoping I had my basis covered. Anyways if I had a positive opk on that tuesday, I am guessing that I would have ovulated on Wednesday Nov 26. I am guessing that makes me 5 dpo. I gave in this moring and just had to poas. I don't even know why I did it. Of course it was a BFN! I guess maybe deep down I was hoping I was a rare case where I would get a positive early! Anyways I know it's still plenty early and I am wondering if this will be my month or not since I still don't have any symptoms! I know lots of people don't get symptoms until they are at least a few weeks along. So anywyas I am going to hold of off until Dec 10, that would make me 14 dpo. My last period start date was Nov 8 so if my cycle decides to be regular this month AF would have showed up by Dec 10. I just don't know what to think because my last cycle lasted 69 days! I wasn't using opk so I wouldn't know when or if I ovulated that cycle. The cycles before that were regular every month on the same date AF would show up! I guess I am being hopeful that this is the month for me!!

According to FF I am 5DPO as well! I'm also testing Dec 10. It's my youngest's 4th birthday so hopefully it'll be lucky Also I'm going out that night and if I want a drink then I want to test before then hahaha. I'm not saying of course that I won't test before....I am not patient!!

Well i'm running into the dilemma that my birthday is Dec 7th, and DH's sisters birthday is Dec 3rd and the family wants us to have a joint b-day party on Dec 5th at a bar. dh and I use to be quite the party goers on the weekends with all of out friends and they would think something is up if I don't drink. No one knows that we have been trying and I don't want to tell people because it's been since June and so far no luck yet! So I don't know what to do because even if I test that day I would only be 9 dpo, which still could be to early and expecially since AF isn't due at least until Dec 8th! Hopefully you get your BFP on your son's b-day, how awesome would that be!! Good Luck!

Ooooo that's a tough one....maybe say you're drinking rye and cokes and have the bartender mix ginerale and coke together in the rum and coke size glass? Tell him you'll tip him extra to keep up the scam lol

You both have great ideas! However first of all I only drink beer, I never trust bartenders to make my drinks (ive heard of to many horror stories of people getting drugged), and second of all I don't think friends would believe the headache/ pain killer story. So I was thinking if I just order my beer and DH drinks beer he could like drink half of his and then do the old switcharoo with mine and people would alway see me with a beer in my hand so that should be convincing enough. I remember I had to do the same type of thing for my cousin at her bachelorette party because earlier that day she had found out she was preggo and didn't want people to suspect anything. They never did, the only thing was that I drank a little to much b/c I was drinking for her and me lol.
