Alright ladies, I'm new here, I've been on other forums, but alot of the girls there are catty, and mean.
So I'm hoping someone here could be of some help (:
I am currently TTC # 2.
My lmp was April 13th, I have a 28 day cycle, so I was due Monday for AF. No sign of her tho *fingers crossed for me*
The problem is I took a hpt Mon-Wed BFN!
I also had a blood test done yesterday, BFN!
It was the test that comes back positive or negative, not the one that gives the actual number of the hcg found in the blood. It was done by my doctor, not my obgyn.
This is where I'm getting confused,
When I got pregnant with my son, my cycles we're 29-35 days long, so I was irregular but once I had him I luckily got regular periods, but with him all the pregnancy testing I did was negative until I was 5w6d. My obgyn told me that I might be one of the women who take longer to produce hcg, leading to false negatives. I have an appointment with a new obgyn Monday morning, in hopes she can tell me what exactly is happening.
My question would be, is it possible that what happened with my first is repeating itself?
Also do I have any choices on how else to find out?
What should I request from my new obgyn?
I do have signs of being pregnant..but who knows.
