So I totally caved and tested this morning, even though I was going to wait till Christmas. The tests I bought this time are the store brand rather than my typical EPT. I was pretty sure it was negative, but alas... I saw a very faint, thin line in the test window!!

I don't know what to think. If it were EPT, I'd be more excited b/c I've used them before and have never had a faint line, but I don't know about these. I figure I have three options:

1) Wait till Christmas and test again with the one I have left.
2) Buy the EPT and test tomorrow morning.
3) Buy a digital (I've never used them before, thoughts?) and test tomorrow.

What does everyone think?

A faint line, even if faint, is a good sign as long as it has color and isn't gray. How many DPO are you, or when do you think AF is due? I am testing on Christmas Eve, I already tested at 8 DPO and got BFN : ( hopefully it was just way to early. Good luck to you, hope you get your BFP soon!

I'm about 12 DPO, I guess. I didn't do any OPK's this month. AF would be due on Christmas, roughly. Oct was a 25 day cycle and last month was 27 days, this is my third round of clomid. I was going to wait till Christmas, but then decided that I didn't want to wait for a couple different reasons.

My last cycle was 27 days as well, and AF for me is due around Christmas too! We must be on the same cycle lol! Can you post a pic of your test?

It was so faint, it wouldn't show in a picture. I took a First Response EPT this morning, and there was no line. I guess maybe yesterday was an evap line. I'm really disappointed. I fear I will get AF while I'm down at my grandparents and I will lose it in front of everyone.

Aw hun, it's ok. I tested again this morning with FRER and got a BFN too. I'm hoping it's still just too early. There's still hope as long as AF doesn't show. Good luck, KUP! Hope you get your BFP soon!

I got AF this morning. Cried hysterically. Officially at a year TTC with no luck. It's very depressing.

I'm so sorry hun! Hopefully your doc can offer some assistance with TTC, now that you've been trying for a year. I've read that most docs won't help till you've tried for a year. Have you set anything up with your doctor? I hope he/she can help you get your BFP very soon! KUP on how you are doing, please?
