I'm not 100% sure when I ovulated, but I'm estimating it was Sunday Jan. 24th when I had the most egg white cm and the ovary twinges. That would make me about 12dpo. I took a FRER last night and this morning, both BFN. The past couple of days I have been having mild AF-like cramps, which is unusual for me because I typically only get bad cramping on the first day of AF. I also always get intense chocolate cravings and sore boobs soon before AF is due, which I don't have. My cervix feels soft, open, and high. Should I still have hopes for this month, or am I pretty much out for the cycle? Your input is very appreciated, thankyou ladies.

I would definately still have hopes. I tested negative with an FRER on CD 10, 11, 12, and 13 with my third child. Then, finally, on CD 14 I got a faaaiinnt BFP. Good luck and keep us posted.

That lifted my spirits for today! I was getting a little discouraged after hearing about a lot of women getting BFPs at 12dpo or less, and a bunch of symptoms. When the only one I've gotten was the mild cramping and lack of AF symptoms. Thanks a bunch! I'm going to try really hard to get through this weekend without testing.

Now I'm starting to think I'm definitely down and out for this cycle. I had some light red/pinkish spotting today only when I wiped, then a few hours later found some bright red spots on my pantiliner. Now it's back to the light red blood, but only when I stick a q-tip up there. I still find it odd that my boobies aren't sore like usual, and I don't have the bad cramps or chocolate cravings. I know I'll have to wait and see tomorrow if it progresses, but is there still any small possibility that I can still be pregnant?

I'd also like to add that my cervix is rather high and medium-soft today, and If I remember reading correctly the cervix should be low and firm during menstruation?

You may have ovulated on the 24th but it could have been a couple days after. The last day that you see or feel fertile cm is your peak day. That is the day you would most likely ovulate. I don't usually ovulate the last day I see fertile cm though. For me, it is usually a couple days after so I always give myself a 2 day window.

During menstruation your cervix is normally low but my cervix was really low when I got my bfp last time. It doesn't always move to a high position right away. But, my cervix felt very firm and closed when I was pregnant and not soft or open. So AF may be on the way. I would try not to read too much into your cervix position though.
