Two symptoms that are confusing me...pls Help!

Hi everyone,

This is my first time. And really, we have been TTC for our first time. I've never paid much attention to my cycle because pregnancy wasn't our priority but for the past 6 months I've been wanting more and more to get pregnant. I'm almost 36 yrs old and this would be our first baby. Let me start by saying that I basically know that my period is at the beginning of a month. I believe I have an average 30 day cycle. I know around when I ovulate because I get really bad twinges. My last period started on April 1st. So, I know my window of opportunity was from the April 15th until April 19th. We BD on April 15, 17 and 18. I'm pretty sure I ovulated on Sundy the 18th because of the pains. I know it's too early and it may sound crazy, but since Sunday, I've been feeling a little off. The pains are still there (not as strong, but noticeable, that when I stand up, sometimes I need to kneel over). I feel a little nauseated, but nothing drastic, just comes and goes. But the symptoms that are really confusing me are the following: yesterday morning, when I went for my first morning pee....shock...it was bright yellow and cloudy...so cloudy I couldn't see the bottom of the bowl. The rest of the day was fine. I had an episode of some thing that I couldn't eat because it was going to make me gag...but nothing else. Now this morning, woke up at 5:30. when I got off the bed, I couldn't believe how I had to go pee. Surprise again!!! Very cloudy yellow pee...but when I wiped, there was light pinkish blood on the paper towel! I'm really confused. If it's implentation, isn't it too early? Should I call my dr or should I wait another week?

Hopefully it happened for you but I think it would be too early to tell. Sometimes when you really want to conceive your body tricks you with some of the symptoms. hope this helps a bit. Don't know about the cloudy pee except it can be a sign of dehydration

to AIP! You've definitely come to the right place to obsess over symptoms.

Please check out the various topics, especially the sticky that outlines all of the abbreviations and their meanings. This board is a wonderful place to come for support, to ask questions and sometimes just to rant.

There are a couple of things that could cause cloudy urine. First, it could be a UTI. I've had the same thing happen when I had an infection. Second, it could be EWCM mixing with the urine when you go. This could make it cloudy. Or, just a lot of CM (cervical mucous). Also, as Lily said, it could be a sign of dehydration.

That being said, Implantation can happen anywhere from 3-14 dpo. If you had light pink, it could be IB. I would wait about a week, then take a test. If what you had was IB, then you should get a bfp next week. By then, you'd be about 10dpo, if you ovulated on Sunday. And yes, when you really want to be pregnant, your body can give you false signs. The best thing to do is to get a BBT and start taking your temp at the same time every morning right upon waking.

Hi Lady Rogue,

Thank you for listening. The reason I'm so freaked out is that I'm not one that have UTI (had only 1 20 years ago when I was on the pill and taking antibiotics). Also, this started the day after I started taking Folic Acid. could this be the cause of the foggy urine? It's still going on and the spotting is almost none existing. I will keep you posted.

Here is an update. I went to the dr's last night and he did a urine test and he couldn't tell whether there is an infection or not so he wants me to do a culture. My pee was still a bit cloudy this morning but not like the 1st and 2nd morning. I'm at 5dpo and last night, I felt so nauseated, like the stomach flu. I didn't throw up but it kept coming and going. I feel so bloated and I have a hard time buttoning my pants. This is too early to be feeling all these symptoms IF I'm pregnant or is it? I'd love to hear your intake on this matter

Hi rosa I am 6 dpo and had sore bbs for 2 days and felt a bit sick so I know how you feel. i am trying to keep myself busy to take my mind of things. I know this doesn't help but just wanted to let you know you are not alone.

Thanks for chatting with me. I guess we are in the the same boat and I hope we can keep each other occupied over the next week...I'll let you know how things are and pls let me know how things are with you. Just a little update, my pains have gone away since yesterday. The only thing I really feel is really bloated when I eat and I still have my cloudy pee in the morning. the other odd thing is that my bbs are not hurting me at all when they kill me just before my period.

All of these things can be early pg signs. On the other hand, they could also be PMS. It really stinks that we just don't ever know until we either get a bfp or AF arrives. If you had IB already Rosa, you very well could be having symptoms. Please keep us posted!!!

Hi again. Well still no change here.bbs still really sore with and without bra. painted the ceiling in the hall tonight and doing more tomorow so that keeps me occupied. It is great to log on and find ladies that know and can relate to what you are going through. 7 days to af is due and it seems like a lifetime away

Mine due on Saturday and I went and bought clearblue today so they are safely tucked away waiting to be used. My bbs arent sore today so not feeling so sure now

I bet this week drags in.

Today I'm feeling really crampy...it hurts alot like when I have to get my period. and also my legs are hurting me...weird. I took a test again....looking for that faint line LOL. More I read on this and more I'm thinking it's all in my head. I don't have the moodiness (I usually do have bad MOOD swings 2 weeks before my period and it gets worse as I get closer to AF) I my bbs are not hurting me at all (they usually do, a great deal) and the worse one of all, I have so much energy...not tired like so many people feel. I'm so confused

How about you, what are your symptoms lately?

Similar to yourself. I am also glad to have you to talk to. bbs are slightly sore, been a bit moody but nothing compared to normal but I have lots of energy to. I finished painting the ceiling and then scrubbed the stairs and loads of other stuff. I am trying so hard to not think about it and the 2 tests I have stashed. I take it the test was not the desired result. On the plus I got cramps similar to period cramps when I was pregnant with my 3rd child, stocked up on the sanitary protection which I didn't need cause about a week later I found out I was pregnant with her so I am keeping my fingers crossed for you

Happy to have you. I would wait a while, it could just be residual AF bleeding. The cloudy pee could be from CM. (or dehydration.) But this is exciting! I really hope this is your BFP!

Well guess what Rosa, I got some minor cramps last night and this morning it is so frustrating I just want to know either way. So tempted to test today or tomorrow but the test says at the earliest 4 days prior to period and even then accuracy is just 53% and raises as you get closer to af's arrival. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Don't give up. For sure next Monday we will have tested and will know more....for now...I'll keep you calm, and you can keep me calm. My problem is that I can't test this weekend because my dad is getting operated and I will be taking care of him. I will probably test next Monday...so my countdown starts.

Any other symptoms for you? I still have cramping like pulling in my lower abdomen. It's just a dull pain that is constantly there. Mostly on my left side but the odd time it could be in the middle or right side.

cramps continued on and off today. they were mild but feel just like period cramps also think I have pms because I have been a bit snappy and want to crawl into bed and cry but could also be because I am really tired and have set myself up for the witch to come on Saturday. I hope your dad is ok. I was gonna test on Friday but think I will wait until Saturday cause I think I will be wasting a test. To be honest I don't think I will even need to test as I having a feeling af will show

How are you feeling today? I don't feel anything different at 9 dpo. I have a question for you...what do your cramps feel like? Mine have been feeling like a pressure and it seems to always come from the left side. When I apply pressure, it actually feels good.
