Hi all, new to the site and have been reading posts for the last two hours...getting excited. Had IUD out a year and a half ago and used only condoms since then....fertility should be rife unless mother nature has other plans! This is our first month trying and I have been having some confusing symptoms!

Ok, so AF arrived 3rd Nov, I think I ovulated 17th (did not pay attention to cm) as I had mild cramps and then had cramps again on 20th with two little brown-ish, pink-ish spots that I noticed when I wiped - this was a once off and never saw it again. Bbs have been slightly tender on the sides (I keep squashing them to see if the tenderness is still there) and occassional tenderness under each nipple.
To add drama to the story, I have had on and off (every 2nd day or so) lower backache and the odd AF-like twinge.
These symptoms have got me feeling positive but then there is that little voice making up excuses in the back of my mind. Like, "stop squashing your Bbs, of course they will feel tender", or "dont do gardening for hours on end as your back will ache" and lastly "AF is 4 days away, you always have a twinge or two".
I cant be certain that I have felt a teeny bit queasy every now and then as I am sure my mind is playing tricks on me because I so want to have a BFP this month!

Like a a bar of opened chocolate, the urge to test is getting the better of me but I am determined to wait until AF is at least a day late before tetsing. A gruelling 4 days ahead...oh for the love of Pete!

Right there with ya. I had a spot of blood at 6 DPO and then nothing and have also had boobs that can't decide if they are sore or not. And then other symptoms that I, like you, either attribute to other things (I've definitely said the boob thing to myself too. "Of course they're sore, you keep messing with them!" Haha!) or convince myself that it's all psychosomatic and I'm crazy. I've also got 4 days to go before I'm late and will let myself test. We can go crazy together. Hope this is it for you.

Hey there. Got an update? Nothing much going on here. I think I might be more veiny but then again I'm super pale so I'm probably no more veiny than normal. Nips still are sore on and off. Nothing much has changed. Been really busy today so I didn't think about it too much, thank goodness. How are you doing?

Hi Linchensmom and Docsmama,
Nothing to report as yet .. but have had AF like cramps for the past two days now . I am crossig my fingers that AF does not suddenly appear out of nowhere. I usually get cramps the day before but never this early so i hope it is a sign! Am still holding out on testing though - I have the willpower of a flea and hence am struggling.

It seems like you have great will power! I am in the same boat as you as well! Although my wait will be going on for a few more days! AF hopefully will NOT show up on the 5th as unfortunetly expected! But is today your day? I'm hoping for you to get your BFP! Good luck!

Af still no show and fingers and toes crossed. I am still going to hold off testing until at least Saturday as AF was 3 days late this cycle and I am not really "clock-work". Holding thumbs for you guys too. xx

I got my this morning!! Albeit at 4 am due to the need to pee. I dont have enough posts for a pic but I can tell you that the lines are dark and came up in seconds! Dh going to buy digital today for ease of mind too.


Ladies...do NOT give up. I was certain AF was going to appear this week. In amongst all the "weird" symptoms that I could not decide if they were in my head or not and then the late AF of two days with cramping - glad I held out this late to test.
