nothing serious (touch wood)..

ages ago a guy rear ended me... but neither of us were going more than a few km/h - so it didn't even leave a dent..

then about 2 months ago I rear ended a bus... THAT really shook me up, and totally munched up the front of my car.. thank goodness we were all okay though, and insurance covered it... that was $3000 I couldn't have come up with1

Other than be scared, and having to be without my car we're fine. The car they've rented to me has like the world's biggest blind spot though so I'm not a fan, I'll be happy to get my car back!

Thanks. I was in a roll over car accident once, so comparatively speaking, this was nothing.

I was in one about 6 months ago, I was t-boned in my van, on the drivers side. My daughter was on that side too, luckily it hit the front end of the van and we were both fine, the van however was totaled. It was really scary, I made my daughter sleep with me that night because I was scared she had bonked her head even in her seat (I'm a worrier).

I'm glad your ok, I hope you get your car back soon.

As far as I know they should have got the parts today so that should mean 5 working days, but I haven't heard from them except for the day they told me they'd get the parts Tuesday/Wednesday.

I only had 2 fender benders. One where I hit someone but there was no damage to their car only mine so we didn't even bother report it since the only thing that broke on mine was the grill.
Then I had one where someone hit me from behind, but nothing serious, it was raining so hard and their brakes failed to stop them in time because of the water and they tapped me. Again nothing worth even reporting.

I have an angel or something watching over me because I should have been in one when I was PG with DD when the rear end of my car was cracked and didn't know it. I took the car in to get the heater core fixed and we found this issue when the guy from AAA had it on the flat bed truck, I noticed break fluid dripping and saw the brake line was snapped. After further investigation I saw the frame cracked. If I was driving when that happened it would have been a bad accident. But something was watching over me and caused my car to over heat and blow my heater core so I would have to get it taken care of to find this issue.

I'm glad you're ok! Don't forget to try to get the insurance to pay for replacing your car seats! It might be a bit of a fight, but there are ways to get them to pay.

I have been in a couple accidents. One was when my mom was driving. Two where when I was first learning, had no confidence, and wasn't focused enough (both of those were VERY minor.) And then there was the one that totaled my car. A guy t-boned me; I had the right of way.

There were no car seats involved in this crash, I was in my car and not the van. The car doesn't have car seats. It normally has a booster seat for Courtney but it got taken out recently and since she doesn't have to be in one it wasn't yet put it back in, so no new car seats needed.
