We homeschool, year-round. We're going on a 3 week (at least) break after next week though to prepare for/recover from Hannah's birth.

Idk if I've met anybody who said that before. My friends who home school still take a "summer break" though not all of them in the summer per say.

How were their first days of school, Christen???

Gaby has a two week break in Sept/Oct & then their big summer break is week before Christmas-first week of Feb.... it's going to be a break of huge changes for us too, because we're moving 650km away!

I don't know if we'll always do it this way, but we love it so far. This way we can take smaller breaks more often, and not have to worry about it, or stress about the kids forgetting things.

Wow, that will be quite the change, GL to them.

Courtney was really glad to be back with her friends. Rock was excited to start school. They've both been doing pretty well. A little bit of bumpy weather with Rock, but he's doing good overall.

Yeah that's how the "year round" schools work here. They do get a "summer break" but it is far shorter than the kids, so they take breaks throughout the year, like every 3 weeks or so they have some sort of break or something like that.
