Tara (my sister) went in yesterday to be induced, which was supposed to be induced at 3PM, but the hospital got really busy so they ended up doing it around 6:45PM. They gave her oxytocin (sp?) because she was already almost 6 cm (which she had been for awhile) and she ended up having him at 9:28PM!



His name is Gavin (unless she changed her mind....AGAIN!) and I'm not sure of the middle name because they were waiting to see him first, then picking one that fit best. He weighed 9lbs 2.5 oz! I'm not sure how long he was though, I was sleeping when my BIL called last night.

Emma and I will be going to visit later today so I will be updating with pics after I get back!

I'm so excited.......and there's only 10 more weeks till my turn

*His face was pretty bruised because he has basically been pushing on mommies cervix for the last 6 weeks and had a little trouble coming out, and they kept him in the nursery all last night because his blood sugar was flucuating(sp?) and he can back with scratches all over his face....dumb nurses didn't put the scratch mitts on!

My other nephew Noah had already left so I couldn't get any pics of the big brother, but when I do I'll post some. Yes, Gavin was over due, he was supposed to be here on August 28th.

YAY congrats! I'm glad mom and baby are doing good! Heh..he was a big one... (they've been coming out big huh) I bet this just makes you even more excited for your little girl to come!

Stacey, your nephew is soooooo adorable! Brings back so many memories of when Ayden was a newborn!! I bet you can't wait for your new little bundle to arrive!!!! Congrats!!

I wish I had a picture of him with his big brother...they look identical! It is cute because they make the exact same faces! I think I held him the entire time I was visiting!

I CAN'T (well I can...but I don't want to!) WAIT 10 MORE WEEKS!
