On June 19 2003 I decided that I was going to WALK like crazy.
Dh and I, and our little puppy Bruiser walked up and down our street until it has been about a mile and a half walk.

Later that evening I wanted to walk some more so we went outside and walked it again.

Then while Dh was watching a show on TV i walked up and down the hall in our house, and circled the living room for about 30 minutes.

At around 1:30 I had gotten up to go to the bathroom (one of the thousands of trips I had made that night..lol) then at I felt a slight cramp in my side and rolled over onto my left side. I thought I heard something pop.
I got up to go and check it out and felt something leaking, so i basically Hopped to the bathroom, as soon as I got the commode, my water broke (1:38 am)
I yelled at dh..hey hey..My water just broke...his sleepy reply "Youve got to be kidding me".

Then we went to the hospital. I wasnt haveing any pain but I didnt turn down the epidural at 5:30am. The guy came in and gave the EPI to me, and then we waited and waited. I was given Pitocin as well.
At 12 o'clock days of our lives was on so I started watching it (Its my fave soap)
So at 12:30 the nurse told me i was dialted to 10 and I could start pushing.
Between pushes we both watched days of our lives,(I watched it the whole time, ITs a GREAT focus point).
Dh was holding one leg, and a nurse was holding the other.
During the soap Passions, at 1:22 pm (JUNE 20) Jaden Patrick came into the world.
Weighing 6lbs and 5 oz and was 19 inches long.
He was the most beautiful baby in the entire world!! :-)

You know Steph, I've read a lot of birth stories. I have never, and I mean NEVER, heard of someone watching a soap opera while delivering a baby. Classic! I wonder if the soap people know what people are doing while watching their shows .... LMAO!

And yes, Jaden is a beautiful baby!
