Ian was born May 14 2004 at 636pm at a gigantic 9lbs 2 oz. His labor was pretty quick around 6 hours or so. I was induced at 39weeks 2 days because I was going to become an inuslin dependant GD so they decided to induce opposed to insulin. I was also at high risk for a c section because of Abigails birth. Same deal as with the girl we went in around 8ish pitocin started at 11 and the broke my water. Contrax hit around noon. Ians heart rate went down so they stopped the pitocin and as long as his heart rate went back to normal I could deliver vaginally. It went back to normal and they started the pitocin right back up. At 5:00 I was complete. They however did not want me pushing he was so high up. So we let him descend and he was sunny side up so they wanted him to turn also. He did! So around 6 I told them I HAD TO PUSH. The nurse brushed it off so I took a nap! LOL. At 6:20 I woke up, a VERY short nap LOL! I said I had to push and I could see his head. He was starting to crown. They wanted some stupid resident to come in and they were paging her left and right. I WAS PISSED! First the resident was NOT my Dr. My Doctor was wanting this girl to be in, so be it. However at 6:30 Ian had fully crowned. I have this thing I will push only everyother contraction. So thats what I did. 6 contractions later in which during only three did I push Ian was here. No tearing, ripping or episiotomy! However the idiot residen put a few stitches in my for practice and I asked for them to be removed. No problems with Ian I wanted to be discharged that night LOL! No pain NOTHING! I also had an epidural with him also!
