I thought this would be a fun topic.......
Do you ahve a baby that shares a birthday with another sibling? OR with your parents?
Tell the story of the reaction to the new arrival on someones birthday!

~OR~
Do your kids share the birthdate number??

In my family my kids all share a birthdate number with one of us or each other. It is neat.
My youngest shares the exact time of birth with my sisters DD of 1:25pm. They also are only 4 days from being exactly 2 years apart.

Well my son shares the exact same bday as your DS!

But my grandfather is 10/23, DH is 10/26, Tyler is 10/29 --all 3 days apart
Then my mom's in 11/4--Ty's due date.

My son and my cousin (my aunt isn't much older than me) are exactly 10 years apart. Their b-days are September 4th. My little cousin was so excited when Christopher was born on his birthday. Christopher was due on my sister-n-laws birthday though. September 11th but came 7 days early!

My half brother (from my dad) and mom share the same birthday 10/10. Other than that there is no birthdays remotley near eachother. Mine is in Nov, Brians is in March, Ian is in May and Abigail is in Dec.

Oh my nephew shares the same b-day as the Marine Corp but only a Marine actually would care about that LOL!

lots of that in my family!

My mom and I are one day apart - grew up sharing (well, once I wasn't a little kid anymore) and we still do - it's a blast!

My dad , my cousin and my nephew have the same birthday.

My husband and my aunt have the same birthday.

Our little one isn't here yet but has a REAL good chance of being born on either my dh's or my dad's birthday - or several other members who have late November/early December birthdays...

I have an uncle who is a twin and they have another sister who all share the same birthday -

A cousin who has a family where her dh, her son, her daughter, and she are 10/4,10/5, 10/6, and 10/7

It's a blast - we always make it fun...

My youngest son was born on my dad's birthday. (July 21) Dad came to the hospital after he was born and told me "You don't have to get me a present now" My oldest was 5 days after his dad's bday and my middle son was born on the anniversary of the day my papa died. He was also born with bright red hair (My papa was nicknamed Carrot) and without knowing it, I gave him the same middle name as my papa! Talk about strange!

My youngest brother Brandon & my Sis-in-law Sally had their son Dylan on March 28th 2000. The same day my daughter Regina & son-in-law Gary had my grandson Brandon.
Yes, Brandon is named after my brother.

Brandon & Sally lived in PR at the time. Sally is from there. I called them that night{March 28th} to tell them Regina gave birth to Brandon. That was when my brother told me well, Sally had our baby too.

So I have a grandson & nephew born on the same day...not too many hours apart!

DD #1, my father, my uncle, and my b-day is on the same number - 22. DD #2 and DD #3 are 2 years and 8 days apart. My first 3 DDs were all born in the 20's of the month; only DD #4 was born on the 5th. Interesting!

I forgot; DD #4 is only 4 days off from my oldest brother's birthday.

I have a few little comments on this topic. My ex-boyfriend and his little brother had the same birthday and at 23 and 18 they were still enjoying sharing it. When Glenn was 4 years old, his parents asked him if he would mind and he said no (like he understood at that age!) so they scheduled a C-Section for his little bro that day.

My DH and my dad have the same bday and I find it to be kind of difficult. I want to spend some time with both of them and its hard b/c although we could all spend time together, that wouldn't be much of a bday celebration for Wade. This past year, we went out to dinner with just my mom b/c my dad was working. I felt bad b/c Wade doesn't even like to go out to eat and would have preferred to just relax at home.

And finally... we're not sure of my DD just yet, ut we're thinking its going to fall around DH (and dad's) bday ... if I have any choice at all (I know I probably don't) I don't want the baby to be born on the same day. I think everyone should have their own special day! That's my 2cents!
