So, you know the troubles we've been having with Ashlyn's reflux, and her colic. Well, dare I say, I think we FINALLY have a combination that has it under control, and I swear to you the product for the colic is a MIRACLE.

Doubling the Prevacid seems to have really helped her reflux. She has an actual schedule during the day, and almost never cries, unless she's trying to tell me she's tired.

At night, however, she was still MISERABLE from 7-10 or 11 pm. And thanks to daylight savings time, it starts at 6. Well, I'm not a believer in Homeopathic stuff usually. I'm more of a Western Medicine kind of gal, but DH's entire family is big into natural remedies, etc. So DH got online and found this product called Colic Calm, that's 100% homeopathic. It's a kind of gripe water, and since I tried some drug store gripe water awhile ago, I didn't think it was going to work. But he was convinced, and ordered it. It came in on Monday, and has worked EVERY NIGHT THIS WEEK.

She starts crying, I give her 2.5 mL in a syringe, and within 2 or 3 minutes, she's CALM. Looking around. Within 5 more minutes, she's asleep. Sound asleep. No more crying, and screaming, and throwing a fit for hours at a time. Just CALM.

I was SHOCKED that it worked so well. But it's been 5 nights now, and it's helped every night so far. It's amazing, and freeing! The only downfall is that it has vegetable charcoal or something in it, so it is BLACK, and stains her lips (it comes out of the laundry, thank goodness), but it's a small price to pay.

If anyone is in need of some relief:

I had seen this but wasn't sure if it would work. How long did it take to get to you after you ordered it?

Haven't heard of this stuff, but were recommended another one by our Dr. for colic. It's called Bio Gaia and is essentially a probiotic for their systems to help them digest. Most reviews say that their babies were night and day different once they were taking it- we just started it yesterday so far he's a smiley boy this morning, hope it continues.

So nice to find something to help colic- it's so hard to deal with! Glad you found your magic combo!
