We have Geico and love it, but were hoping to find a cheaper rate as we really need to start saving more money on our bills. However, after calling around, I found out we are actually getting the best deal right now

We switched from Geico to Progressive. We weren't unhappy with Geico moneywise, but they were a huge PITA when we wanted to get DH's son off our policy when he moved in with his mom. So we dumped them.

It turns out Progressive is cheaper since they give so many discounts. We got a discount for our new policy and we always get a discount for paying in full.

I think we have State Farm. We pay more than we would if we were to go with some place like Geico or Progressive. However, DH insists that he'd rather deal with someone locally that he can talk to face to face if needed.

We were with Nationwide for 5 years and just switched to 21st Century last week. We had NEVER shopped around before, but I finally did and switching saved us $115!! Same coverage, with even more benefits that we didn't have before. I was floored.

We've been with Geico for over 6 years, and while we love it, we're looking at switching. I did some shopping a few weeks ago, and it looks like for same coverage plus some, we can save $30 a month if we go with Progressive. The only way we'll stay with Geico is if we get our homeowners insurance through them, and if the savings balance out.

We've been with USAA for years, since my stepdad is an ex-Army Reserve Major. Their customer service is outstanding and they give their customers a rebate check at the end of the calendar year.

We have State Farm and I love it. We also have our house insurance through them so we get a discount.
