Yes! I already am. My 5 year old knows how important coupons are for me and that saving money is always a big deal. She always asks me if things are on sale or if I have a coupon for something that she wants.

I will teach them to make wise decisions, use other sorts of means (freecycle, trading, etc) and to delay gratification.

Absolutely! My siblings and I were not taught these things, since my stepdad had a very good job. So entering the "real world" was rough for me at first. I definitely want my daughter to be more prepared.

I hope so. I know I talk to them about being smart with their money and they seem to like that about me so hopefully they will be smart with finances too. I guess we'll see.
