As little as possible. I use a lot of vinegar and borax, but those both last a long time. I probably spend about 10 bucks a month on things like laundry soap (I buy store brand), dish soap, sponges and bleach solution.

Stay at home mom to two:
I stock up on laundry soap when it's on sale, and spend no more than $2 a bottle (usually ALL). I won't have to buy dish soap for probably 2 years-- I 'bought' a bunch of Gain and Dawn for free a couple months ago. For dish detergent I just bought 5 20ct boxes of Finish Gel pacs for $1.24 each yesterday, and that will probably last for 5 months. For all purpose spray cleaners, and bathroom cleaners, I try to buy what's on sale or have a coupon for, typically every other month or longer. Yesterday I bought a bottle of WM brand all purpose spray for $1.18 and Scrubbing Bubbles foaming cleaner for $2.39.
we get powder Tide at Costco when it is on sale with a coupon, lasts about 7-8 months for $20-something. Other cleaners I get close to free with doubled coupons + sale, or the 7th Gen store coupon + manuf coupon at Target. We try to use all natural cleaners.
I make a vinegar/water cleaner for use around our home. And I try to buy any other cleaners when they're on sale and I have coupons - especially at Target since I can stack manuf/store coupons. Not sure what it would all work out to monthly. Maybe $10?
I usually stock up when it's on sale. I got a bunch of Lysol cleaners for really cheap at CVS recently, and will be set for a few months. I got Dawn for free at Fry's a few months ago, and still have about 20 bottles. We do spend more on detergent when we have to because of our sensitive skin, so we buy the fragrance free All or Tide.
I make my own laundry detergent. I have enough electrosol and dawn to clean the ocean and I use either free/cheap lysol or comet for other cleaning. I would say I spend about $15 a year on cleaning supplies
