I didn't feel like this was a great week for coupons or sales. I can't say I got any remarkably great deals.

So far, the best thing I have found was Fry's allowing competitors coupons again and all coupons being a $1. I did a couple transactions using a $6 off $30 coupon.

One of the better deals I got yesterday was on Pillsbury canned biscuits. They were 99 cents as part of a Kroger sale, and I had a .30/2 coupon that doubled.

I guess the best coupon I had Sunday at Food Lion was they had Freshetta pizzas buy 2 get one free and I had printed off (3) $1.00 off coupons. Ended up getting them for $3.50 a piece which DH and I can make a meal off of...so that is a cheap dinner!

Also they had steaks on sale and then I got an extra coupon for $2 off any $17 or more purchase of beef. Ended up making the steaks that were huge (I only ate half) like $4.50 each. Cannot go to a restuarant and get a steak for $4.50! I felt proud of myself.

All in all, my MVP savings were $61 and with coupons I saved $70! Not the best on coupons but not bad. I also got a huge ham that was on sale and gonna make some ham and beans (filling and cheap).

Don't forget that Target accepts a manufacturer's coupon AND store coupon. If you're buying old orchard juice you can go to their website and print a coupon for something like $1 off when you buy 4 old orchard juices. Combined with the target coupon, that could be pretty nice!
