I thought it would be nice to post how we organize our coupons

Do you use an envelope? Folder? Binder?

How do you make sure you remember to use the coupons?

I have no organization right now.. I've been so bad about even using the ones I get! I'm hoping to get better again after Ben is born and things settle down.

Before, when I was better about using them.. I had a cloth cash envelope then used the smaller paper envelopes inside of those. I had one for Home, Baby, Grocery, Restaurant (anything fast food or sit down), Beauty (toiletries etc), Services and I think that was it.

I have a small accordion file folder that fits right in my purse. It a little smaller then one of those calendar/planners that are a $1 that some carry in there purse. I just bought it at Office Max for $4.99. It's really cute and does a great job at keeping everything organized.

I use an organizer, however, when I make my shopping list I will put matching coupons in an envelope. I will also take the organizer just in case I run into something I did not expect to see on sale!

I have two small accordian files (one for food categories, the other for household/toiletries). Then depending on what store I'm going to, I put one or both in my purse. (I like big purses. )

i haven't been organizing them yet. I just started and only have a small amount of coupons. I think I'm going to try the small file method first though.

I have a binder that has baseball card holders inside that I have split up into different categories. I used to use a small envelope and brought only the coupons I thought I would use, but I've missed out on a lot of good deals not having my coupons with me.

I keep unused coupons intact in a folder labeled with the date. Then once clipped when matched up with the sales, I just have an envelope for them with the store name. But I don't cut any coupons until I match up for a sale
