Tonight, I'm making chicken piccata w/ lemon spaghetti. My estimate would be $5 or so for the three of us.

Organic chicken tikka with organic basmati, steamed green beans.

The chicken thigh and legs cost about $4 when Whole Foods had organic chickens for $1.69 a pound. The spices are expensive, but I buy them about every 10 times I use it. So about $3 for the spices. $1 for organic yogurt. $1 for the rice that I buy in bulk. The green beans were $2.

So $12 for some seriously tasty organic food.

Tacos here :-) Kids have been bugging for them. I picked up 2 packs of ground turkey @ $2.25 each, so just around 8-9. for the total meal with cheese, lettuce, seasoning and taco shells.

It was supposed to be tuna helper with tater tots and a veg, but I am sick of tuna helper so I went and 'splurged' on those box meals lol. It was $6.00 and we have sides at home.
