I am finding Groupon and Living Social good places for steals. I got a 5 pass card to Bounce U (indoor moonbounce place) for $20, it is normally $8-9/visit! We also got a zoo membership to the smaller local zoo for $65 a year, and I calculated that it pays for itself in three visits in a year! we also go to different awesome playgrounds, local farms, etc. We also go to free story time every tuesday at the library, which DD loves and the kid's library is really fun so we spend some time there with her playing with the toys and other kids.

We go to the library every Wednesday morning for storytime, visit various parks in the area, and we have our state's Botanical Gardens right here (which is free) so we go there often to walk around and see what's new in the different seasons.

We love the library, and there's Science Central (science museum for kids like CoSi and some others), the zoo, a history museum, art museum, etc around us. There's also a working farm that a local parks department puts on that is super fun. The parks department has a splash pad at one of the parks, which is so fun in the summer - it's a variety of different sprinklers/water dumpers for kids and turns on only when there is someone there to push the button.

We love the libraries, the parks, the playgrounds, swimming pools, walking by the river. My grandparents also own a camp on the lake, so we can go up there, and MIL owns a season lot on Prince Edward Island so we can cut back on the cost of family vacations that way.

We've been going to the park a lot lately because it's so nice out right now. It's starting to heat up though, and I know we will be doing a lot of swimming this summer.
