Do you do freezer cooking? What meals do you freeze to use at a later date?

This is something I'd like to start trying this summer after I understand and get better at couponing.

I dont do a lot of it, unless its some kind of large meat that I had to cook for some reason. I froze a bunch of cooked turkey to use later and froze the ham too.

I did it for only a few months but didnt stick to it. I felt as if I was eating left overs all the time. So now, when I do cook, I just make extra and toss it into the freezer so we always have yummy lunches instead of using it for dinner. The times I cooked like 10 meals in one day to freeze I was exhausted and felt is wasnt worth it.

I haven't tried this yet, but have thought about it. We don't have a large freezer though, so I don't know if it would work.

I just started this! (and will be blogging about it )
My favorite thing so far is twiced baked potatos. I had a bunch of potatoes I got on sale so I baked them, cut them, gutted them, made the filling, filled it all up, topped with cheese and wrapped each half in plastic wrap before puttin them in a ziplock bag. I have over a dozen of them in the freezer and not only is it great to already have on hand to serve with steak or pork chops, it makes an easy side for my youngest for lunch as he loooooves taters.
Ive also cooked chicken quarters, and froze the broth and shredded the chicken to freeze for soups, salads, quesidillas later on.
I plan to slow cook some pork for bbq as well, shred it and freeze it for sandwhiches or salads. I think it will be great for DH to take for his lunches, he gets tired of regular ole sandwiches.
That's as far as Ive gotten so far, but I have mucho plans for the future.

Thank you for sharing what you have done! I started thinking more about this, but couldn't think of a lot of food that you could do this with. I'm also trying to think of new things for DH to take for lunches

We live in an apartment right now and the size of our fridge is not ideal. Our last apartment had the full size one, but this is slightly smaller.

This reminds me I need to clean my freezer out and take an inventory of what we have.

We have a small deep freezer, and for the past few months I have been making extra of things to put in there for when our daughter was born. It has been soooo helpful! Here are some things I made:
baked oatmeal (LOVE, such an easy breakfast)
taco meat
browned ground beef
spaghetti sauce
pizza sauce
soups
cooked turkey
muffin breads
banana bread
cookies
