I stopped in at Walgreens yesterday. Spend $35.05, saved $32.65 and got $10 RR for next trip.
Then went to Henry's Market for DH and his gluten free foods. Didn't really save much, only had $5 off in coupons, but everything I bought was on sale! Spent $66 but it should last him a few weeks. I find it so hard to stock up on these items cause they are so expensive. I can only buy a little at a time or our whole months budget would be used.
I don't know if you have checked out gluten-free mall before. It seems kind of odd to order food online, but they have a much larger selection than my local grocery store does and I often get coupon codes for them. Right now they have 10%off with the code ad514d
That sounds tough. I have the same issues with our eating budget. We try really hard to eat healthy, but fresh fruit and veg is actually kind of expensive when it's over half of what you eat.
We are the same way. Thats why I really try to save as much as possible on personal hygiene, all cleaners, diapers, and non perishable items. That way I have more of my budget to spend on fruits, veggies and meat. I freeze fruit n veggies when they are on sale to use when they are not.
