Same with me. I also price match to Walmart. We have a lot of little stores around here that Walmart will price match. It works better for me because I don't have to drive so far and around to each individual store. That's basically the only reason I go there, though.

I have found that I tend to get the best value shopping at my local farmer's market. For example, yesterday I bought:
-1 lb yellow wax beans
-1 large zucchini
-2 patty pan squash
-1 lb baby potatoes
-2 red peppers
-8 jalapenos
-6 nectarines
-5 apples
This was a total of $18. I would have easily spent double at the grocery plus I know that everything that I bought was local.

Love it!

I do love our local farmer's market, too. Sometimes, it can be overpriced. But, they do have a lot of organic and locally grown items that I like.

I shop a lot of sales and in season as well, and a lot of times I buy from the 50% off if I know we'll use it in the next couple of days, or if I can freeze it.

Love this! Our Fry's store often has bananas that are 50% off when they are just starting to turn. I buy them for banana bread!
