Do you use credit cards?
What do you think is a good interest rate?

DH and I do not use credit cards. They may work for some and that's great, but we have chosen not to use them unless it becomes necessary.

We agree with you. We have a few but only to help our credit score. When we use them we make a payment right away and keep any balance pretty low.

We have thought about them to better our credit, but we aren't there yet. I have just seen too many people have trouble with them, that I would rather avoid it as long as I can.

When DF was 20, he had a credit card that he racked up some debt on, so we no longer use credit cards. We do have one of those GreenDot cards to pay some of our bills online and for things that require a credit card (or in this case, something similar to a CC). Maybe one day we will get another CC, but for now, I just don't think it's a good idea for us. I do think they are good for building credit.

We pretty much use credit cards for everything, but we pay it completely every month. Never keep a balance. We have really good rewards that we cash in one a year which is why we do this (we get a few hundred dollars this way!). We even pay our bills on it. I do like using the credit card for us because we can just go through the statement online and check that we're on track with our budget. However, we are not the type of people to just whip out a card for anything and over spend thinking that we can pay it off later. We don't make any large purchases unless the money has been saved up for and can immediately be moved from savings over to the credit card balance that comes up. Our banking is done completely online and I can check on it even on my phone.

Do you use credit cards?
Sort of ... we use them for things like buying on the internet and we pay them off before interest can accrue ... aside from needing to buy off the internet, they are for emergencies
What do you think is a good interest rate?
Not one single clue

That's great that you pay it completely off every month. I totally forgot about the rewards! lol That's how I personally think credit cards *can* be beneficial - When you are paying off the balances, getting rewards, building your credit up... We just aren't ready to do it. lol
