The kids are back in school after their spring break--I have to admit that I'm thankful for that. I love 'em to pieces, but I like my days without listening to the bickering of my 9 and 7 year olds...
Why do siblings argue over the dumbest things? It's a mystery to me... they can argue over who is going to brush their teeth first... who said what first.... who said what second... who made who feel like poop... whose hair looks funny [even when it honestly doesn't]... and trust me, the list goes on.
So needless to say--yes, I am glad they're back to school. Only another six weeks or so, and they'll be home for the summer. Where did this school year GO??????
So--how is everyone doing on the challenge? I've done remarkably well, so far... I am hoping to not really do much shopping for a couple months... if I can stick to it. I generally see the great sales and think, "well, stocking up a little more can't hurt..." but it is starting to get ridiculous in my pantry. I had to take everything out the other day and try to get some better order to it. But there's just so much food, that I had a hard time. I even found myself freecycling one box of stuff that I just knew we wouldn't get eaten before it went bad.
What are your plans this week? Doing anything fun? Anybody's kids off this week for their spring break??
